IMPORTANT NOTICE - DEADLINE TO RECORD DOCUMENTS and ISSUE MARRIAGE LICENSE 4:00 PM
WE ARE NOW LOCATED at the Old TXDOT / DHS Building on HWY 67 East (502 EAST MAIN). The entrance to our office at the new location is located on the west side of the building - look for the WELCOME wagon wheel. You may also use the front door of the building to get to our office.
OFFICIAL PUBLIC RECORDS ONLINE - countygovernmentrecords.com You must register a username, password, enter your credit/debit card information before using the website for the first time. You may VIEW for FREE and print for a fee with a credit or debit card.
Monthly subscriptions are available or purchase copies as you go.
Contract and Lien / Oil and Gas Lease Records are now available online (indexed and imaged) from 1910 forward.
Deed records are online from 1843 forward. (Indexed and Imaged)
If you find a document that does not have an image, let us know. We will be sure and correct the problem.
Accepted forms of payment include cash,*checks, cashiers check, and money order.
*No out-of-state personal checks accepted.
All checks must have the drivers license and phone number of signer otherwise your documents may be returned unrecorded.
